Alexander Chard is a US based Australian actor. He has been performing professionally since he was 14 years old.
Growing up in Australia and Indonesia, he performed in a variety of stage and commercial work. At the age of 18 he was recognized for his theatre work with a nomination for best supporting actor at the City of Newcastle Drama Awards.
In 2007 he moved to London and worked predominately in theatre, although, he also featured in a variety of films, commercials and photo stills. During his time in London he performed at such venues as the Old Vic Tunnels, The Lyric Theatre, Theatre503 and the Edinburgh Fringe. He was also a member of the critically acclaimed dramatic improvisation company, The Improsarios.
In early 2012 Alexander starred as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in 'Spider-Man: Eclipse', a short film by award winning director Al White. The film was hosted by the Fox owned IGN and featured on their website to coincide with the release of The Amazing Spider-Man.
In February 2015, Alexander relocated to the US to expand his work into Film and Television.
The Blackout is his first lead in a US feature.
